INSTRUCTOR YOLANDA RAMIREZ Ms. Ramirez established the Unity Dance Studio in 2004 where she taught Ballet, African, Jazz, and Liturgical (Praise Dance) to children. In 2008, Ms. Ramirez and her students appeared in a television commercial that was broadcast on Channel 9. As the childhood obesity rate soared, Ms. Ramirez was motivated to switch from recreational dance to fitness dance when she noticed that her students were becoming overweight. She created a special fitness and dance aerobics class just for kids called "Fitness & Fun". She has since obtained her fitness certification and expanded her dance fitness program to include adults.
